Trouble Everyday to Perform in SL Tonight at 6pm PDT!

It's not every day that trouble follows you, or is it? I'm so punny sometimes.

For one night only, Kyle Costill, Darren Morze, Mike the Dude and Brian Sprenger (Trouble Everyday) will be performing in avatar form in Second Life from a studio in their native Philadelphia. Band members have toured with the likes of Perry Ferrell and The Killers! They'll be performing today, Friday, June 8th, at 6pm PDT (SL Time), at Phreak Isle.

I've heard some of their music and it's pretty good. It is described to be a mix of indie rock, punk, and pop. Phreak Radio will be providing the stream if you want to tune in remotely or can't get into Second Life. There will also be listening stations in Indigo and Olive. Be sure not to miss it!

The Electric Sheep Company

The Electric Sheep Company is a creative group that believes in the emerging strength of the Internet (and its associated virtual worlds) as a viable medium in which to create value, commerce, and community. Responsible for such past projects as Second Life Exercises for Community Emergency Response Teams (SLE-CERT), Democracy Island, and The Escapist Lounge, Electric Sheep regards SL as its primary platform in which to effect the plans of its clients.

If anyone is going to be involved in the future direction of the Internet (with all the latest ramblings currently going on about 'Web 2.0'), it's this company. Among its constituents are the well-regarded and influential residents Satchmo Prototype, FlipperPA Peregrine, and Forseti Svarog. Currently, their most visible product is SL Boutique, the one-stop-shopping site for all your SL needs.

Keep an eye on these guys; they're plugged in to the future... just look at their logo! And any company whose name derives (as I guess) from a Philip K. Dick novel is the company I want to keep.
